So this post is about food and silly me forgot to take pictures of my actual food (& yes, I am just as disappointed as you are that I cannot reminisce on these meals)! Mr. Wong is one of the most renown restaurants in Sydney and it. is. so. worth. it! They do not take reservations so at opening hours there are typically people in line for at least an hour.

Celsius Coffee Co. was one of the top brunch places I had to go while living in Sydney (& trust me there were a lot of brunches on my list). The main reason was the exclusivity and the charming location. It is located on the very end of a neighborhood street making it basically hidden, but also right on the water. It is very, very tiny though so if you plan on going expect at least an hour wait. TIP: it is walking distance from Wendy’s Secret Garden and so I walked there and back during the two hour wait.

Sydney has a ton of Thai restaurants, but Chat Thai is for sure the best of them all! Even with a few locations in the city, there is usually still a wait but it is so worth it. Their curry is to die for and would be my favorite thing on the menu if I had to choose!

Mamak was highly recommended to me by coworkers and locals and I tried it to check it off the list, but I was highly surprised by how divine it was. I probably went once a week and always got this roti that they form in the shape of a cone!

One of the most anticipated meals of my whole trip was my brunch at Speedo’s in Bondi Beach. It was known for being quirky and Insta-worthy brunch that also tasted delicious. I went on a random day that I got work off and it honestly scared me a little to go by myself, but I persisted. I sat in an ocean view bar seat and enjoyed these ridiculous pancakes. I tried my best to finish them, but it was actually so filling. Also, my matcha latte was just as delicious as it was adorable. Even though Speedo’s is labeled as basic and some locals say it is overrated, I would argue it is worth at least one try!
