SUSURROS DEL CORAZÓN, AUBERGE RESORTS COLLECTIONS

I was so excited to visit Susurros del Corazón in Punta de Mita, Mexico for the first time (& as my first time in Mexico). Upon first impressions, it is more beautiful than the pictures even showcase online and on top of that the people were one of my favorite parts of this resort! We took their car service from the airport to the resort where we were greeted with margaritas upon arrival.

We stayed in an Oceanview Casita which was absolutely stunning! We were given a schedule of all events happening on property during our stay along with letting them know what time we would like complementary coffee dropped off in the morning. Highly recommend their cinnamon coffee – it was divine!

Each morning we had breakfast at their restaurant, Casamilpa. I made sure to try something different each day, but this was recommended by one of the managers there. It is their english muffin sandwich with a side of chorizo!

We spent the majority of our days at the adult pool which is the one with a swim-up bar! We also had this beautiful cabana to enjoy during our stay which made it just that much more special!

La Boquita

For dinner the first night we went to La Boquita on property. We started with chorizo queso along with chips & salsa. They had speciality tacos with a chef from El Carmel, which was fun to try something different! The sunset here was incredible!!

The next morning we had our coffee delivered exactly on time and checked out this adorable pastry cart right by the lobby! This room of local art is right next to it which was really cool! We did opt for a full breakfast again as you can see below.

I had the Huevos Rancheros with both sauces, because why not? This was delicious and hit the spot!

In each room they have these ponchos and straw hats which we took full advantage of! I loved how the staff really encouraged us to embrace the culture there and it was so fun to get tons of compliments on these fun outfits!

They also have a private beach which is super walkable from the pool area. The water was so warm and I was happy to learn there’s not a ton of wildlife or anything to worry about when swimming here. We loved going in the ocean and laying out down here!

Casamilpa

The next night we opted for the fancier restaurant on property, Casamilpa. I love when friends want to share so that I can try a little bit of each, which is exactly what we did! Everything was delicious!! I would vote the fish as my favorite, but I would honestly order anything we got again.

We headed to La Boquita for a night-cap cocktail and desert. Of course, these tasted as good as they look!

Sayulita
Sayulita Wine Shop

On our last full day we arranged a private car through the hotel to take us to the surf town, Sayulita, which was only ~ 30 minutes from the resort. It was super cute to walk around and see all of the artisan shops. This wine bar is super popular as well if you’re looking for something specific to do in Sayulita!

For our final night the resort had this “Toes in the Sand” dinner which was a set menu served directly on the beach. This was truly incredible! The food was beyond delicious and the vibes were immaculate. They had a saxophone player playing throughout dinner and we couldn’t ask for a better ending to our vacation!
