We perfectly timed our trip to Amsterdam to when Keukenhof Gardens was open which is generally March – May. It is only 30 minutes away from Amsterdam city center which made for a super easy commute via charter bus. Just thinking about wandering through fields bursting with all sorts of colorful tulips and other blooms had me so excited! We booked a day trip through Viator (contact me to book the same) and it was so easy!

They had ton of fun activities like this maze around the property! I love how entertained we were the whole time!

Since we went early in the season the famous field of tulips wasn’t fully grown yet, which was a bummer! I would plan to go later in the season if possible.

I absolutely loved this place! Overall, our tour went so smoothly. I was concerned that we would not need the full two and a half hours, but the gardens are so large that it was nice to stroll and take our time.
